Brutus Bone Broth is a human-grade, all-natural bone broth made for dogs. The client was looking for a completely new, fresh look for their website. Their current website lacks personality and the user experience is very clunky and information is hard to find. The product pages needed major changes and improvements as they do not communicate all of the amazing health benefits the product has to offer for dogs.

Conducted a site audit to improve design and layout

Navigation

Navigation should lead with products rather than about the brand. Users are more inclined to learn more about the product first before the brand. The site also does not have a collection page where a user can browse all products at once.

Homepage Layout

Hero image should have a main value prop to describe the product’s value to a customer right away.
Products are not being shown in native Shopify format. Each product should be highlighted on the homepage so you can click to buy individually.

Product Page

Poor use of image and photography.
Overall, imagery can use more personality by adding a lifestyle touch.
Benefits and product description is very hard for a user to see and navigate.

Goals

Provide a seamless shopping experience to online prospects so we convert more users to ‘add to cart’ and ‘checkout’.
